木文定量地分析了卡腰冲天炉55炉次的焦炭燃烧试验、模拟熔炼试验和生产性熔炼试验的熔炼结果。三种不同质量的焦炭和三种不同大小冲天炉的对比试验结果表明:卡腰型与直筒型冲天炉相比,铁水温度提高20—30℃,两排风口距离为0.55D时的铁水温度比0.98D高1.O℃左右。同时,根据模拟熔炼试验所得到的冲天炉炉内温度分布、气体浓度分布和压力分布,定性地分析了铁水的过热条件,认为铁水的过热温度与冲天炉炉内过热面积及其热价值、炉气水当量有关。叙述了实现冲天炉温度强化的途径和相应的工艺技术措施,用新的铁水过热观点,解释了卡腰冲天炉获得高温铁水的原因。
