变矮了,宫墙比原先低了90厘米2015年,故宫博物院建院90周年,10月故宫西部的慈宁宫区域首次对外开放。从2014年6月到11月,故宫博物院考古研究所配合院内热力、电力和消防等基础设施改造工程,报国家文物局批准,对故宫南三所门外电力增容管线工程工地、南大库消防管道改线工程工地、慈宁花园热力电力管线改造工程工地等3处发现古代建筑遗址的施工区域进行了抢救性考古发掘,有许多新发现。
