广东省农业科学院于1975年1月15日至25日在从化县召开了广东省水稻选育种科研会议。参加会议的有各地区和部分县的农业行政部门和农业科研部门的科研工人、农民育种家、领导干部、科技人员,以及高等院校的代表共140多人。在会议期间,中共广东省委常委张根生同志作了重要指示。这次会议高举党的基本路线,总结我省25年来水稻育种工作的经验,并在此基础上制订了1975-1980年全省水稻育种科研协作计划。这是一次大批判、大总结、大交流、大提高、大鼓干劲的会议,明确了方向,提高了信心,感到大有奔头。这次会议是组织我省水稻育种新跃进的一个良好开端。
Guangdong Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences in January 15, 1975 to 25 in Conghua County held a rice breeding research meeting. More than 140 people attended the conference, including scientific research workers, farmers’ breeders, leading cadres, scientific and technical personnel, and representatives of universities and colleges in the agricultural administrations and agricultural scientific research departments of all regions and counties. During the meeting, Comrade Zhang Gensheng, member of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, made an important instruction. This meeting held aloft the party’s basic line, summed up the province 25 years of rice breeding work experience, and on this basis developed a 1975-1980 rice breeding scientific research collaboration plan. This is a big criticism, big summary, big exchange, large increase, drums of the meeting, a clear direction, improve confidence, feel great success. This meeting is a good start to organize a new leap forward in rice breeding in our province.
