文章基于中西方城市广场的角度,简要分析了在不同文化背景下人们对“城市广场”的理解上的差异,进而进行其城市广场的历史变迁对比。基于这些对比,文章探讨了中西方对“城市记忆”的理解差异,并分析了由此引发的应对城市历史文脉的态度和做法上的差异,以期探寻在现代城市发展中延续历史文脉的可能性。
Based on the perspectives of the Chinese and western city squares, the article briefly analyzes the differences in people’s understanding of “City Square ” under different cultural backgrounds and makes a comparison between the historical changes of the city squares. Based on these comparisons, the article explores the differences between China and the West on the understanding of “urban memory ” and analyzes the differences in attitudes and practices that deal with the historical context of the city, in order to explore the continuation of history in the development of modern cities Possibilities of veins.
