中国经济史学会上届年会是1991年6月在郑州召开的,迄今已两年多。回忆上届年会时许多人有一种危机感:济史研究受到冷落,学校削减有关课程,著述无处发表。为此,会议曾以如何开展经济史研究为中心议题,共谋摆脱困境。宋老(则行)在闭幕词中以“要坐得住冷板凳”相勉,会后并有多名同志联名上书教委。那么,这两年来情况如何呢? 从两年来(1991—1992)出版情况看,经济史的专著有220多种,比上次年会的前两年增加一倍有余。并向专业史,地区史发展,研究领域扩大至边疆、少数民族、人口、劳动、
The last annual meeting of China Economic History Society was held in Zhengzhou in June 1991 and has been more than two years. Many people recall the last annual meeting when there is a sense of crisis: economic research has been neglected, the school cut the course, the book nowhere to publish. To this end, the meeting once conducted a study on how to carry out economic history as the central issue and conspired to get out of the predicament. Song Lao (OK) said in his closing remarks that he “should sit on the bench” and after the meeting more than one comrade wrote a letter to the Board of Education. So, what has happened in these two years? According to the publication situation in the past two years (1991-1992), there are over 220 monographs on economic history, more than double the previous two years of last year’s meeting.
