Archeological research in Romania did not get any new encouragement in the people’s republic until 1949, though it has undergone a preliminary recovery and some remarkable achievements after the First World War. Archeology, like other branches of science, has given the state academy of science a new structure and direction for it; it has created the prerequisite for remarkable achievements. Systematic excavations have begun on many of the larger sites in every part of the country; on the one hand, attempts have been made to explain the ancient and ancient periods that are still vague in history, on the one hand, and on the other hand To fill in the gaps left behind in the past work. Past work, in many cases, is not systematic enough, and no equal emphasis has been given to all parts of the country.
