中间摩擦式胶带机(简称ZMS机)是正在研制的新式胶带输送机。它是在原有胶带输送机的中间各段,布置若干短胶带机放在原承载带的下面,或是空行带下面也放,借助于两胶带之间的摩擦力,由短胶带来驱动主胶带以加长运距,增加运量。我国最早介绍此机理论的是本刊1978年第5期。现在,北京煤炭规划设计院、上海起重运输机械厂和贵州新技术研究所都分别设计研制了一台。
