“七桂早25”是由佛山兽专农学系用“七优占”与“桂朝二号”杂交育成,属于早晚造兼用的优质高产抗病新品种。我县1985年晚造引进试种,1986年早造全县示范面积1300亩,平均亩产350.8公斤。高产田7.02亩,平均亩产476.6公斤。为了探讨“七桂早25”早造亩产500公斤的栽培技术,合浦县科委在环城乡陈屋村搞了一块1.55亩的高产田,经验收,亩产干谷501.8公斤。该田块的栽培管理经验如下。
