Jin Shangyi Chairman of China Artists Association and Dean of the Central Academy of Fine Arts: The examination of children’s drawings does not meet the characteristics of children themselves, nor does it conform to the laws of art itself and the art of primary and secondary schools. I explicitly object to this. Such a test, nor in other countries. In music, although there are grading examinations in some places, these art categories and paintings vary greatly and should not be applied. I think many of the problems of art education are now necessary for an in-depth reflection. Even the middle school of the Academy of Fine Arts needs to be considered, not to mention passing the exams to children. I support the Guangzhou Juvenile Palace against grading call. At the recent meeting of the CPPCC National Committee, such opinions have been written into the proposals and sent to the Political Consultative Conference and relevant departments of the Ministry of Education for further study.
