Objective: To explore the relationship between the incidence of sudden deafness and microcirculation. Methods: The ophthalmic artery blood flow parameters of 34 patients with sudden deafness and 15 normal subjects were detected by Acuson 12 8XP / 10 color Doppler flowmeter. Results: The velocity of blood flow in the ophthalmic artery of 28 patients (82.4%) with sudden deafness was lower than that of the contralateral ophthalmic artery and the control group, and the vascular resistance was higher than that of the control group (P < 0 .0 5). Conclusion: It is suggested that the changes of low flow velocity, hypoperfusion and high resistance blood flow in the affected side of the affected patients may be related to the pathogenesis of sudden deafness.
