墓志是古代丧葬礼俗中重要祔葬品,主要置于墓中,专为记叙死者姓名、籍贯、生卒年月、生平事迹,是当时人们生死观与丧葬文化的重要体现。从目前的考古资料来看,出土的墓志数量很多,但史料上关于其形制、尺寸、铭刻工艺等诸多方面皆没有明确的文献记载,即便是《三才图绘》这样包罗万象的丛书,也没有载录与墓志相关的图式或内容。其中原因,我们推测可能为墓志虽属丧葬礼制的重要祔葬品,但其主要为死去的人服务。中国人一向避讳谈阴间之事,所以其神秘性一直
