1983年8月28日上午10时,新华社驻马那瓜分社向总社发出了第一条消息。下午又发出了第二条和第三条消息。开张大吉的第一天,分社发出的这三条消息,意味着新华社依靠外电编发尼加拉瓜消息的日子从此结束,意味着新华社正朝着世界性大通讯社的目标勇往直前。岁月流逝,转瞬已五年多。分社记者已轮换三批。马那瓜的消息源源不断地发往总社,汇集到大广播和各条专线中去由总社发往世界各地。作为马那瓜分社的第一任常驻记者,我在那里工作了两年多,经历了分社创业的艰辛阶段。回忆那难忘的日日夜夜,历历在目,感触万千。
At 10 a.m. on August 28, 1983, the Xinhua News Agency’s Managua branch sent the first news to the head office. In the afternoon, the second and third messages were sent again. On the first day of its inauguration, the three messages sent by the branch office mean that the day Xinhua News Agency relied on foreign sources to compile Nicaraguan news ends. This means that Xinhua News Agency is moving forward toward the goal of a world-class large news agency. The passage of time, has been more than five years. Branch correspondent has three batches of rotation. As the first permanent correspondent for the Managua branch, I worked there for more than two years and experienced the difficult stage of establishing a business.
