当今信息时代,科学的国际性品格变得更加鲜明和重要,如今,在科技图书领域,英文控制着世界市场,因此,在发达国家,作者都希望自己的著作用英文出版,然而,我国高校学报资金匮乏,没有能力出版英文刊物,只能利用摘要这个小天地宣传我们的科技成果,打入国际市场。据报道,世界上约有48%的科技工作者通过阅读文摘来代替阅读原文,这样,既便于克服语言障碍,又利于节约时间,在极短的时间(通常2—3分钟)里掌握原文的要点。
Nowadays, in the field of science and technology books, English controls the world market. Therefore, in the developed countries, the authors all hope that their work will be published in English. However, in our country, the international character of science becomes more distinct and important. Lack of funds, inability to publish English publications, can only use this small world to promote our scientific and technological achievements, into the international market.
