张家口探矿机械厂是我国最大的地质机械产品制造厂家,现有职工4500人,固定资产逾亿元,占地63万平方米。“八五”期间,在国家经贸委和各级工商银行的大力支持下,工厂进行了全面的技术改造。该厂现有锻压、铸造、精铸、金属结构、机械加工、装配、超硬材料等18个分厂、车间,拥有主要生产设备1660台,高精设备和仪器300余台,测试计量仪器齐备,为国家二级计量单位。
Zhangjiakou Prospecting Machinery Factory is China’s largest manufacturer of geological machinery products. It has 4,500 employees, more than 100 million yuan in fixed assets and an area of 630,000 square meters. During the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” period, with the strong support of the State Economic and Trade Commission and Industrial and Commercial Banks at all levels, the factory carried out a comprehensive technological transformation. The factory has 18 branch factories and workshops including forging, casting, casting, metal structure, machining, assembly, superhard materials, etc. There are 1,660 main production equipments, more than 300 high-precision equipments and instruments, and complete test and measurement instruments. It is a national second-level measurement unit.
