In 2009, Jiang Should, sec-retary-general of Shanghai Integrated Circuit Industry Association, once forecasted the zero yield of the invest-ment in China's semiconduc-tor industry. But now he changed his opinion. On January 20, he said that the launch of Shanghai Huali Microelec-tronic Corp's production line for 12-inch integrated circuit would push the development of China's semiconductor industry.
