腰果的学名是Anacardium occidentale L.,腰果属,漆树科,是热带木本作物。腰果的果实由两部分组成,下部肉质部分由花托扩大而成,称腰果梨(假果),长达5—8公分,可食,并能蒸馏成易醉的饮料。上部为暗灰色肾形坚果,形如雄鸡睾丸,故名为腰果(或称鸡腰果,是真果)。
The scientific name of Cashew nuts is Anacardium occidentale L., Cashew, Acacia, tropical woody crops. The fruit of the cashew nut is made up of two parts. The lower part of the fleshy part is enlarged by the torus. It says that the cashew pear (false fruit) is 5-8 cm long, edible and can be distilled into an easy to drink beverage. Upper part of the dark gray kidney-shaped nuts, shaped like a rooster testis, so called cashew (or chicken cashew, is the true fruit).
