党的十二大提出到本世纪末要实现工农业总产值翻两番的宏伟目标。如何使太原市工业发展速度既快又充满后劲,实现持续稳定增长,是值得认真探讨的问题。本文就此谈一些不成熟的看法。 建国以来,太原市工业发展速度是相当快的。从1949年到1983年,工业总产值增长115倍,年平均递增率为15％。1983年全市工业总产值占工农业总产值的比重由1949年的39.6％提高到1983年的91.9％,工业部门创造的国民收入占全市国民收入的比重由1949年的22％提高到1983年的67.9％。工业发展尽管波动幅度大、经济效益差,但经过三十多年努力,已逐步形成了以冶金、煤炭、电力、机械化工为主,包括轻纺、食品、电子、建材等工业部门齐全、产品种类繁多、基础雄厚、规模相当的工业生产体系,为今后工业进一步发展奠定了基础。
