黎磊石(1926—2010年,湖南省浏阳人),1948年毕业于国立中正医学院,毕业后在南京中央医院(后更名为华东军区医院)内科工作。1949年后,长期在南京军区总医院工作,1975年国内首创肾脏病学专业,开展肾脏病防治研究,在此基础上于1992年经批准创办了解放军肾脏病研究所并长期担任所长。1994年当选为中国工程院首批、中国肾脏病学界第一位院士、医学卫生学部常委;1998年入选中国工程院主席团成员。曾任
Li Lei (1926-2010, Liuyang, Hunan Province) graduated from the National Chung Cheng Medical College in 1948 and graduated in internal medicine at Nanjing Central Hospital (later renamed the East China Military Hospital). After 1949, he worked in the General Hospital of Nanjing Military Region for a long time. In 1975, he pioneered the research of nephrology in China and started the research on prevention and treatment of nephrology. On this basis, he founded the Institute of Nephrology of the People’s Liberation Army in 1992 and has long been the director of the institute. In 1994 was elected the first batch of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chinese nephrology academician of the first academician, Department of Medical Health Standing Committee; 1998 selected Chinese Academy of Engineering Bureau member.
