吉林省四平市中心医院创建于1978年,经过22年的艰苦创业,励精图治,改革发展,开拓进取,现已建成一所地市级较大规模的具有集医疗、预防、保健、康复功能为一体的综合性二级甲等医院。医院建筑面积4万多平方米,现有职工1052人,病床700张,固定资产4400万元。医疗设备超万元的有157台(件)。现有医疗、医技、行政、后勤科室75个,设有27个病区及ICU、CCU病房。还建成了本市的急诊急救、临床检验、心脑血管研究、白内障复明等7个中心,发挥医疗技术指导中心的作用。并成为中国医科大学第一临床学院的友好医院和白求恩医科大学的教学医院以及四平卫校的临床实习基地。
