论述了合成闸瓦的运用特性，以及当前使用合成闸瓦中存在的一些问题。同时对合成闸瓦与铸铁闸瓦进行了比较。最后还介绍了当前在改进合成闸瓦性能以及新型制动材料的开发方面所进行的研究和所取得的进展。
The application characteristics of the synthetic brake shoe and the problems existing in the synthetic brake shoe are discussed. At the same time, the synthetic brake shoes and cast iron brake shoes were compared. Finally, the current research and progress made in improving the performance of synthetic brake shoes and the development of new brake materials are also introduced.
