From the test requirements, written test in English can reflect the more comprehensive examination of the candidates grasp the grammar knowledge, vocabulary knowledge, the words and sentences and the ability to use English to think. As a required test in the entrance exam, written expression is a higher requirement of English language learning output. Therefore, to explore the proposition direction and problem-solving skills is of great significance to improve the quality of English teaching in secondary schools and to develop students’ pragmatic competence. Proposition Based on the requirements of compulsory education English Curriculum Standard (2011 Edition) formulated by the Ministry of Education, the propositions of written expression in English senior high school entrance examination are mainly based on the teaching materials and teaching practice in our province and the purpose of thinking in quality education and selection examination.
