随着素质教育的进一步实施,对于传统的高校英语教学提出了更高的要求,但是除此之外,由于高校逐年扩招、师资队伍建设、重科研轻教学等因素,也影响了高校的英语教学质量,导致了培养出的人才无法满足社会的需求。本文通过简要介绍影响高校英语教学质量的因素,并在此基础上提出了相应的改进措施,为各大高校的英语教学提供参考。
