党的十六大提出全面建设小康社会的四项基本目标,加强物质文明建设,实现国民经济翻两番;加强政治文明建设,完善社会主义民主和法律制度;加强精神文明建设,提高全民族整体素质;加强生态文明建设,不断增强可持续发展能力。全面建设经济更加发展、民主更加健全、科教更加进步、文化更加繁荣、社会更加和谐、人民生活更加殷实的小康社会。吉林省委、省政府根据党的十六大精神,结合我省的优势,做出了建设工业省、科教省、生态省的重大决策,以加快全面建设小康社会的速度。
The 16th CPC National Congress proposed the four basic goals of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects, strengthened the building of material civilization and quadrupled the national economy; strengthened the construction of political civilization and perfected socialist democracy and the legal system; strengthened the building of spiritual civilization and the overall nationality of the entire nation Quality; strengthen the construction of ecological civilization, and continuously enhance the capacity of sustainable development. We will build an overall well-to-do society with a more prosperous economy, a more complete democracy, a more progressive science and education, a more prosperous culture, a more harmonious society, and a more prosperous people’s livelihood. In accordance with the spirit of the 16th National Party Congress and with the advantages of our province, Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Government have made major decisions on building industrial provinces, science and education provinces and ecological provinces so as to speed up the construction of an overall well-to-do society.
