1991年7月4日,在友人的介绍下,美国的两大顶级富豪巴菲特与比尔·盖茨有缘相识。此时两人在美国《福布斯》的排行榜上已经是名列前茅,难分伯仲。相识之前,盖茨对结识股神巴菲特这样的投资大师兴趣了了。他曾简单认为巴菲特“只会投资和选股票”。
