最近在美国Iowa州的PMX公司投产了世界上第一台可逆式热带轧机,该机用于生产黄铜、紫铜和不锈钢带。轧机从黄铜带生产转换成紫铜带生产或不锈钢带生产,不需要重新调整设备。该轧机由美国Pittsburg州Tippins公司制造提供。轧机为四辊轧机,轧制带宽为1000mm,厚度小于2.5mm,生产的设计能力约135000t/a。除轧机的机械和液压系统外、控制轧制的计算机及数字式液压自动控制器也由Tippins公司提供。
PMX Corporation, recently in Iowa, USA, put into operation the world’s first reversing hot strip mill for the production of brass, copper and stainless steel. Converting from a brass belt production to a copper belt production or a stainless steel belt production does not require readjustment of the equipment. The mill is manufactured by Tippins, Pittsburg, USA. The rolling mill is a four-high rolling mill with a rolling width of 1000 mm and a thickness of less than 2.5 mm. The designed production capacity is about 135,000 t / a. In addition to the mill’s mechanical and hydraulic systems, controlled rolling computers and digital hydraulic autocontrollers are also supplied by Tippins.
