太子参Pseudostellaria rhaphanorhiza(Hemsl.)Pax.是石竹科的一种植物。它的塊根呈紡綞形,能供药用。因其特別对兒童出虚汗煎服有效,故民間又称为“孩兒参”庵种参镌谖夜揭?尚未見有記載;在“本草綱目拾遺”內所載的“太子参”,系指辽参小者而言,並非同种。现在中医用太子参作虚弱强壯滋补剂,因此,我們特地訪問了江苏省中医院,知道可以用来代替人参。因它的价格較人参便宜得多,剂量虽多用些,还适于劳动人民的經济条件。該院並以太子参等制成“参味合剂”,用来治疗“神經衰弱”。我們又向南京药材公司了解,去年镇江、南京二郊区所栽培的太子参实际产量与計划生产指标,相差尚大,以全部产量,單供江苏省应用,尚感不足,可見应用的广泛和栽培的迫切了。太子参为南京特产药物之一。解放前因濫伐森林結果,野生苗逐漸稀少。虽然南京近郊
