泡桐(Paulownia tomentosa Steud)是我省著名的速生树种,它生长快,用途广。因此大力发展泡桐具有重要意义。过去多靠无性繁殖育苗,远远不能满足生产所需要的苗木。临颍瓦店林场对泡桐播种育苗作了多年的探索,连续5年均取得成功,基本掌握了泡桐播种育苗特性,解决了泡桐播种育苗的难关,创造出小圃育苗,大面积带土移栽的经验,并在全专区大面积推广中进一步证实和丰富了瓦店的经验,结果一年生泡桐播种苗,平均苗高2米以上,地径3厘米左右,亩产2,000株左右,普遍降低了育苗成本,为泡桐育苗开辟了
