11月20日—12月25日,在正修建的长江大桥岸边,武昌市风景区的蛇山脚下,举行了湖北省第一届戏曲会演大会。湖北省是我国历史上文化发展重要地区之一,民族戏曲遗产是丰富多彩的,可是这些遗产在旧社会中没有得到爱护反而受到摧残,解放后虽然有一定的发展,但也一度受到轻视遗产和清规戒律的影响,许多剧种、剧目、表演艺术被冷落和行将失传了。在全国戏曲剧目工作会议以后,该省文化领导方面,采取了一些具体措施;提倡大力挖掘和整理传统剧目,尊重表演艺术的现实主义传统,注意保持和发扬各个剧种的固有风格和特色,以丰富上演剧目,提高演出质量。
From November 20 to December 25, at the foot of the Snake Mountain in the scenic area of Wuchang City on the bank of the Yangtze River Bridge under construction, the first drama convention of Hubei Province was held. After the national drama repertory meeting, some specific measures were taken for cultural leadership in the province; the campaign of excavation and reorganization of traditional repertory and respect for the realist tradition of performing arts was advocated. Attention should be paid to maintaining and promoting the inherent style and characteristics of various operas in order to enrich Performing repertoire to improve performance quality.
