鼠害对果园的为害很大,它不但啃食果树的果实,还啃食枝叶、树皮、树根,致使整株死亡。从为害的时期来说,北方田鼠的初冬至翌年春末夏初;中华鼢鼠则常年多在地下生活,不冬眠,春、秋两季活动较频繁;松鼠科的鼠类和鼠科的黄胸鼠、社鼠则多在田间果实临近成熟至采摘前,在树上为害果实;褐家鼠、小仓鼠、黄胸鼠、仓鼠,则以贮藏期为害果实为主。防治方法有:
