This paper discusses the fountainhead of postcolonial translation studies,combs the theoretical source of the rise of postcolonial studies and makes a research on interference of translation in postcolonial studies.After that,it introduces main ideas of postcolonial translation studies and efforts translation theorists have made in this field.It concludes that as a new school of translation theory,postcolonial translation studies will enjoy great promise in the future.
This paper discusses the fountainhead of postcolonial translation studies, combs the theoretical source of the rise of postcolonial studies and makes a research on interference of translation in postcolonial studies. After that, it introduces primarily ideas of postcolonial translation studies and translation translation theorists have made in this field.It concludes that as a new school of translation theory, postcolonial translation studies will enjoy great promise in the future.
