2003年的寒假对于福建省将乐县水难学校的队员们来说,是一个非同寻常的假期。当北风夹杂着寒意呼啸而来时,也带来了困苦和艰辛:学校二(2)中队的残疾学生学习成绩下降,需要补课;福利院的老人们在万家灯火中更显孤单寂寞;新疆地区发生地震,900多间教室倒塌……面对这些困难,一双双充满爱意、充满温暖的小手伸了出来。二(2)中队的中队长戴云红率领一批由语、数、音、美等特长生组成的“优秀生帮教小队”,来到残疾同学陈志洋家中,为他补习功课,陪他做游戏。经过一段时间的补习,陈志洋的学习成绩有了很大提高,对生活也充满了信心,《少年壮志不言愁》还成了他最喜爱的歌曲。
