The hot pressing behavior of aluminum powder, copper powder and tungsten powder was studied and compared with that of iron powder. It was found experimentally that both temperature and pressure have effect on plastic powder or brittle powder. Warm pressing can improve the density of powder compact, reduce the pressure of mold release and elastic after-effects
