AIM To investigate the efficacy of thrombomodulin(TM)-α for treatment of disseminated intravascular coagulopathy(DIC) in the field of gastrointestinal surgery. METHODS Thirty-six peri-operative DIC patients in the field of gastrointestinal surgery who wer
