The P_(53) gene is a tumor suppressor gene with the highest frequency of mutation in known cancer oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes. Many studies believe that the P_53 gene plays a very important role in a variety of cool biological behaviors. Programmed cell death is an important event in tumor formation and evolution. The P_53 gene plays a key role in this process. The P_(53) gene can induce PCD in tumor cells, making it possible to use the P_53 gene for gene therapy. P_ (53) can act together with c-myc, bcl-2, TGFβ, bax and other genes to regulate PCD of tumor cells. The PCD induced by radiotherapy, chemotherapy, hyperthermia and other tumor treatment models all require the participation of P_53 gene. Therefore, an in-depth study of the P_53 gene is expected to establish a new strategy for cancer treatment.
