中华传统文化渊源流长,博大精深。中国的语文教育从有文字记载算起大约有3000多年的历史,而语文教材也随着历史的沿革得到不断的发展,中学语文教材也得到完善和发展,它的特点与功能也不断突出。本文主要从中学语文教材的功能角度来探讨,主要体现在:开发智力、培养语文能力、传授语文知识、积累语文教材、进行爱国主义教育、理想情操教育、道德伦理教育、审美教育、指导语文活动、语文学习和语文思维的方法。
