嘉兴市郊区栖真乡渔村,有外荡养殖水面148.73公顷,池塘面积43.34公顷。目前平均亩产达700公斤以上,並出现了一批亩产吨鱼的塘。但前几年由于缺乏简单有效的护坡保埂法,造成埂土大量流失,有的已是“塘通塘”,塘底淤泥增多,严重威胁着该村池塘渔业生产持续稳定的发展。1987年以来,该村渔民在实践中探索到一种成本低、效果好、简便易行的聚乙烯网布护坡保埂法,至1990年止,该村池塘1.65万米塘坡均全部采用了此法护坡。结果大大降低了因风浪冲刷
