Pulmonary tinnitus (PT) is rare. Between 1987 and 1990, the authors studied 23 inpatients complained of PT. The objective PT (OPT) 14, subjective PT (SPT) 9 people, 14 females, 9 males, aged 23 to 76 years. All patients underwent pathological and neurological examinations and CT scans, 21 underwent selective digital subtraction examinations, and 13 underwent transcranial Doppler examinations.
