最近在新出的《柳江文史资料》里读到一篇文章：《我的二十年退休生活》。但是，文章作者韦日荣的名字已圈上了黑框。不禁让人感到惋惜和悲痛。韦日荣原为柳州地区行署副专员，1984年退休后，他自愿回农村老家——柳江县上龙屯定居。2003年秋，我和县党史办的同志去看望他时，80高龄身体欠佳的他，还在整理将要出版的第二本书稿《夕阳异彩》，写他的新作《我的二十年退休生活》。2004年5月3日，他与世长辞。
