Background information: According to media reports, 5991 new students from Zhejiang University last year reported that more than 10,000 relatives and friends had accompanied them. This phenomenon is also true for Beijing’s Tsinghua University and Peking University. Students register for a few days and the campuses are full of people and people. Some parents cannot find a place to live, but lie on the stairs in front of the classroom in the school or on the grass on the roadside. School canteens are in an emergency. There is no ability for all parents to eat. Some universities have had to send out an urgent notice to this effect to allow parents and friends of students to go to schools as little as possible during fresh students’ registrations, so as to reduce the inconvenience caused to students and parents while also reducing some of the school’s burdens.
