阅读张中秋先生的《原理及其意义——探索中国法律文化之道》颇多感悟,深受启发。张先生立足中国传统文化,从中国传统文化中探索中国法律文化的原理和深层意义,并从系统的梳理和研究中探寻中国法制现代化的路径,这种坚持以中国为中心、注意西方而不盲从的研究立场是纠正时代之弊的勇敢尝试;张先生著作中字里行间彰显出文化自觉的研究心态,并且清晰地显现出作者在自我超越和反思中走向文化自觉的心路历程。作者的这种反思和超越是克服近百年来文化自卑心态的努力,是超越时代制约和局限的努力,更是一个时代的超越。张先生著作中立足本土文化的研究立场彰显文化自觉的超越,是研究中国问题学者超越自身、时代制约和局限的引领,是对中国人文社会科学研究做出的重要贡献。
Reading Zhang Zhongqiu’s “Principles and Significance - Explore China’s Legal Culture,” a lot of insights, inspired. Based on traditional Chinese culture, Zhang explores the principles and deep meanings of Chinese legal culture from the perspective of traditional Chinese culture and explores the path of modernization of Chinese legal system from a systematic review and study. He insisted on using China as the center and not blindly following the West His research stance is a courageous attempt to rectify the disadvantages of the times. The works of Zhang in his works demonstrate the culturally conscious research mentality, and clearly show the author’s journey towards cultural consciousness in his self-transcendence and reflection. This kind of reflection and surpassing by the author is an effort to overcome the mentality of cultural inferiority in nearly a century, an effort to transcend the constraints and limitations of the times, and even an overtaking of an era. His research stand of neutrality in local culture shows his transcendence of cultural consciousness. He is the leader of studying Chinese scholars beyond themselves and the constraints of the times, and is an important contribution to the study of humanities and social sciences in China.
