踏上通江的土地,壮观醒目的红军石刻标语,保存完整的革命旧址,长眠着25000余名将士的全国最大的红军烈士陵园,都在向人们诉说一段红色印记通江为什么被称为“红城”?那是因为上世纪30年代,全国第二大根据地——川陕革命根据地创建,通江即为川陕苏区的首府所在地。红色记忆是通江人谈资论道的“本钱”。随着城镇化的不断发展,这里的街道、建筑和城市里的人都已经更新换代,唯有红色文化从未淡出人们视线。
