一九七八年上海话剧汇报演出已经胜利结束。这次汇报演出,展示了上海话剧队伍奔赴二○○○年的无比热情与坚强信心。大家都激情满怀地憧憬着我国话剧事业的发展和未来。我国话剧到本世纪末该会变成什么模样?在世界剧坛上可能做出什么贡献?在这个问题上,我想发表一些个人看法,希望得到大家的指正。现在,请容许我从实践出发,就从汇报演出的剧目之一、《新长征交响诗》的创作演出经过谈起。
The performance of the Shanghai Drama Show in 1978 has already ended successfully. This report shows the unparalleled enthusiasm and strong confidence of the Shanghai drama team in 2000. All of us passionately envisioned the development and future of our drama industry. What will the show become like in the end of this century in our country’s drama? What contribution may we make in the world’s theater? On this issue, I would like to make some personal remarks and I hope everyone will get it right. Now, please allow me to start from practice, from the performance of one of the repertoire, “New Long March symphonic poem” after the performance of the show.
