启蒙,就是使人从蒙昧状态下解脱出来。这种蒙昧,主要表现在不敢独立地使用人本身已经具有的理解力。这种精神上的不自由状态、在精神上对他人的依赖,最终将使一个人甚至一个民族丧失理性思考的能力。启蒙不仅是针对社会公共领域的,更是要解放个人的自我意识和私人的权利。不能简单地把启蒙理解为从外部对人和社会所贴上的某些政治口号式的标签。启蒙首先应该启迪个人活生生的内心世界,释放每个人独立的思想力和自由想象力。
Enlightenment is to free one from ignorance. This ignorance, mainly manifested in the independent use of people already have their own understanding. This spiritual state of insecurity, relying on others mentally, will ultimately result in the loss of the ability of one person or even one nation to think rationally. Enlightenment not only aims at the public sphere of society, but also liberates the individual’s self-awareness and private rights. Enlightenment can not simply be understood as some of the political slogans that people and society externally label. Enlightenment should, first of all, inspire the inner living world of individuals and free everyone’s independent thinking and free imagination.
