辩证唯物主义认为，存在决定意识，而意识又反作用子存在。实践证明，当社会发生变化后，观念的东西并非立即随之变化。中油集团公司重组改制后，非核心企业的经营机制、管理模式、经营战略、服务范围等都发生了深刻的变化，这时首先要解决的是观念的转变问题。大庆石化总厂继１９９８年石油石化大重组并入中油集团后，不到两年的时间。又进行了重组后的再重组改制。大庆石化总厂迎难而上，以“转变观念、二次创业”主题教育为主线，牢牢把握思想政治工作这条“生命线”，企业发展呈现良好的态势。８月下旬，本刊记者专访了大庆石油化工总厂党委副书记、工会主席、纪委书记郑怀义，相信他们的做法、经验对境况相似的石油石化企业会有很好的借鉴作用。
