Watching TV, listening to radio and reading newspapers. We sometimes see or hear what the government and relevant departments are taking to ease the burden on farmers or businesses and some have achieved success. However, it is seldom seen or heard how leading cadres have reduced their own burdens. When I looked at CCTV East Time Space on August 23, I heard a host say: Recently, this reporter interviewed a place in northeast China and encountered a leading cadre who was examining his work schedule for one week. The pen draws a bar on the calendar of meetings and ceremonial activities that one does not think he or she needs to attend, indicating that it is not going to participate in order to concentrate and do a good job. After listening to this report, I can not help applauding and awe the leading cadre who conscientiously relieved himself of his burden. This is an embodiment of that the leading cadres are strict with their own laws and are diligent and pragmatic.
