2012年是中共中央《关于建立老干部退休制度的决定》颁布实施30周年。30年来,老干部工作在改革中推进、在继承中发展。悠悠岁月铭记着老干部奋斗的足迹,光辉历史镌刻着老干部不朽的功绩,新的征程彰显着老干部崇高的风范。抚今追昔,我们更加敬重老同志们为实现新老干部合作与交替,让党的事业薪火相传所作出的巨大贡献,也倍感历史赋予我们这一代共产党员的使命之光荣、责任之重大,必须以改革创新精神,推进党的事业在新的历史起点上的科学发展、全面发展。
2012 marks the 30th anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the Decision of the CPC Central Committee on the Establishment of a Retirement System for Veteran Cadres. In the past 30 years, the work of veteran cadres has been promoted in the course of reform and development in succession. The long years bear in mind the footsteps of the veteran cadres, their glorious history is engraved with the immortal achievements of veteran cadres, and the new journey shows the lofty style of veteran cadres. In retrospect, we pay more attention to the tremendous contribution made by the old comrades in accomplishing the cooperation and alternation between new and veteran cadres and letting the cause of the party pass away. We also feel the glorious and responsible task that history has entrusted to our generation of communists. Reform and innovation, and push forward the scientific development and all-round development of the party’s cause at the new historical starting point.
