白虫小茧蜂Bracon greeni Ashmead是紫胶白虫Eublemma amabilis Moore幼虫最重要的一种体外寄生蜂,它对减轻白虫对紫胶的危害,具有重要的作用。已经查明,白虫小茧蜂在我国原仅分布于滇西南的紫胶老产区。六十年代以后,随着紫胶虫Laccifer lacca Kerr的多次移植,紫胶产区不断扩大,它也同时被移植到华南一些紫胶产地,并在新的环境中繁衍,抑制白虫的危害。1972～1973年,白虫小茧蜂从海南岛西部的乌烈
