(AFP, Washington) A recent American Heart Association publication published a study that found that a marriage can reduce a person’s stroke rate by 30%, and stroke rates can be reduced by 46% among married women. Professor Lyons Simmons of St. Vincent Hospital in New South Wales said that the reason for the reduction of stroke rates among married people remains unclear.
