梁启超、马君武开始译介拜伦之时,都只注重其中“英雄拜伦”一面。这种现象,与清末语境下的军国民意识有着多层联系。军国民意识通过影响期刊内容、撰稿人圈子、具体译介者等,切入到译介活动,进而择取、塑造和传播拜伦形象。该意识包含的文学取向,对译介拜伦诗作的内容择取也大有影响。拜伦形象应和着时代意识,在译介之初就有一定变形,这也是清末译介活动复杂性的表现。
When Liang Qichao and Ma Junwu began translating Byron, they focused only on one side of “Hero Byron”. This phenomenon has a multi-tiered relationship with the military national consciousness in the late Qing Dynasty. Army national consciousness through the influence of journal content, the circle of contributors, the specific translation of referral, cut into the translation activities, and then to choose, shape and spread Byron image. The literary orientation contained in this consciousness also has a great influence on the choice of contents in translation of Byron’s poetry. Byron image should be with the awareness of the times, there is a certain deformation in the translation and introduction, which is also the performance of translation complex activities in the late Qing Dynasty.
