相较其它抗震救灾的影片,电影《倾城》是一部“举生若轻”的作品,将一个大主题、大精神、大情怀放在三个小人物的身上。《倾城》的故事背景发生在汶川大地震后三天内,讲述了老街派出所片警,银行盗窃案在逃犯,性格充满叛逆的女青年三个不同命运的人,带着不同的问题来到小城后的不寻常经历。黄觉在片中饰演银行盗窃案在逃犯,但出场时逃犯穿上警服,警察戴上镣铐,开始人们把他这个逃犯误认为警察,后来他自己也忘记了逃犯的身份。林心如在片中饰演的叛逆少女,性格叛逆,干练洒脱,让人眼前一亮。这部由八一电影制片厂厂长黄宏导演,以汶川地震为背景的电影在雅安地震发生第20天、汶川地震5周年之日上映,收到了热烈的反响。
